Project Overview

The hall was outdated and in need of a refresh, which the committee believed was affecting its ability to attract new users. VIY’s makeover made the space more inviting for both new and existing users, with a calming effect on the children who frequent the hall. The St John’s committee also plans to introduce mental health groups, and the refurbished office space will provide a private and accommodating environment for these groups. In addition to redecorating the hall, the kitchen area was reorganised to maximise space and functionality. VIY installed a new cupboard for storage and made adjustments to better utilise the kitchen area.

VIY primarily focused on redecorating the church hall, including the main hall, entrance, and an office, with colours chosen by the committee. The kitchen was also revamped for greater efficiency, including the relocation of a storage cupboard and the installation of a new kitchen cupboard.
