Caister Cricket Club
About the project
What is VIY doing?
-Creation of disabled shelter for disabled spectators
-Creation of grounds equipment storage (a club priority – currently open to elements and deteriorating rapidly – if they do not store their kit well, they will have issues about replacement and continuation of the game there)
-Collaborative internal mural at the club to celebrate their inclusive approach to cricket and football, to help girls feel more welcome across the two sports – using local artists Reprezent we’ve worked with before here at a parkour club in Norwich

What will be the impact of our project?
We’re hoping the club will attract more women/girls to play cricket/football from this club, more inclusive for those with disabilities/limited mobility – as well as become more financially sustainable, particularly in terms of looking after their equipment.
