Here you’ll find a rundown of our live and upcoming VIY projects by region, which we’ll be keeping as up to date as possible (all subject to shift at any time – oh construction life!)

YOUNG PEOPLE AND YOUTH ORGANISATIONS: If you’re interested in joining as a young person or as an opportunity for young people you work with, contact outreach@teamviy.com. In general we work with young people aged 14-24 – those with different age requirements will be marked as such.
MENTORS AND VOLUNTEERS: If you’d like to lend a hand as a VIY Trade Mentor or volunteer some time on one of these projects, please contact karen@teamviy.com.

Greater Manchester – Inspiring Generations through cricket
- Unsworth Cricket Club – 16th January-3rd February
- a lease of life for the club’s facilities, decorating in vibrant club colours!
- Cheetham Hill Sports Club – 25th January-17th February
- creating and decorating new female facilities to accommodate their growing female sports teams
- Stockport Cricket Club – 6th – 23rd February
- building storage and revitalising this local cricket club
- Oldham Cricket Club – 13th-31st March
- modernising both changing rooms and outdoor seating through carpentry and decorating
Norfolk – Norwich
- Community Skillshare Shop – 9th-27th January
- improving accessibility & kitchen facilities for this community space
- Epic Studios – 6th-24th February
- renovating an ‘epic’ broadcast, music & arts venue with a new kitchen and mega decorating
- Cadge Road Community Centre – 27th February-17th March
- revitalising this community space through carpentry and decorating
- Catton Grove Community Centre – 20th March-14th April
- maximising external space with benches, tables, planters, BBQ, children’s area and mud-kitchen
Nottinghamshire
- Nottingham Women’s Centre – 6th-24th March
- redecorating this vital space for self-identifying women to use for counselling, improving mental health, crafts and physical activity including yoga
- Newark Orchard School – 6th-24th March
- building a sensory garden through carpentry for this school for students with special educational needs
Sheffield
- Sunnybank Community Centre – 28th February-17th March
- redecorating and creating new furniture/storage to bring a vibrant community centre back to life
South East
- Canada Villa Community Centre, Barnet – 6th-31st March
- rebuilding outdoor decking for outdoor physical activity including yoga and dance
- Surrey Council CAMs Service, Epsom – April
- converting a disused pavilion into a therapy garden through carpentry with young CAMs service users
West Midlands
- Concord Youth Centre, Birmingham – 23rd January-10th February
- improving internal external fitness spaces for young people using the space, through carpentry and decorating
- Canley Community Centre, Coventry – 13th-3rd March
- painting a welcoming and fun space to refresh a tired community hall
- Ashiana Community Project, Birmingham – March
- building and decorating cycling storage for a female cycling group
